Is my webcam's sound or video recorded?
No. The test runs live in your browser. Nothing is recorded or sent.
Why does the browser ask for permission?
To access the mic or webcam, the browser always asks for your consent. You can revoke it at any time from the address bar.
What if my mic isn't detected?
Make sure it's plugged in and set as the default mic, close any other apps using it, then reload the page.
