Which format to choose: MP3, WebM, or M4A?
The browser records in its native format: WebM/Opus or M4A depending on the browser (M4A on Safari). These formats offer very good quality for a small file size, but aren't playable everywhere. If you need to send the file, upload it to a platform, or open it in an older player, choose MP3, compatible with practically every device.
