Truth or Dare rules
Players take turns. Whoever's turn it is picks "Truth" or "Dare". With Truth, they answer a question honestly, for example "What's the hardest you've ever laughed in class?". With Dare, they do a small challenge: act like an animal for 30 seconds, talk in an accent until their next turn, sing the chorus of a song the group picks. Here, the card is drawn at random from over 100 truths and dares, and the tool moves on to the next player automatically. Don't like a card? The skip button draws another one. Many groups also add a house rule: no more than two Truths in a row.
Which level to pick: kids, teens or adults?
The kids level has simple dares and sweet questions, perfect for a birthday party, summer camp or a family night: make a funny face, describe your weirdest dream. The teens level leans more on mild embarrassment and small everyday secrets, without going too far. The adults level is meant for parties with friends or coworkers, with more awkward and funnier situations. No level contains sexual cards or dangerous dares: the tool has no "dirty" version. If your group mixes ages, choose the youngest player's level and add a few custom cards to spice things up.
Play for laughs, and respect everyone
Truth or Dare is only fun if everyone has a good time. Any player can turn down a dare or a question without having to explain: use the skip button and keep going. No dares that put anyone in danger, no photos or videos shared without consent, and what's said during a truth stays between you. In a classroom or youth group, the adult in charge can add custom cards on a theme, for example truths in a foreign language.
